A two-day event to celebrate the work, life, artistic and cultural contributions of Tom Lea.
Creator of two murals in the George B. Dealey Library/West Texas Room of the Hall of State in Fair Park for the 1936 Texas Centennial, Tom Lea was an illustrator, muralist, portraitist, World War II artist correspondent, novelist, historian and studio painter. The free event will be held at the Hall of State at Fair Park.
